Welcome to my W.O.C. Vocab Game information page!
W.O.C Vocab Game or Written and Oral Communication Vocab Game is an escape room game to help students in the W.O.C class memorize certain word's definitions. It's for District 214 students in Illinois because they share the same class. It's possible that other Schools might have a version of this class. If your class has these words that are in the game then it can help you, too. There are 25 words, but one word has two definitions, so there are 26 rooms in total to escape. It's meant for iPad Air 2 only. I been working on this app for three years, and this final version is way different from when I first thought I was done with the app. It memorizes your name if you want to play again or if you decide to change your name, but then decided not, too. Unless you close the app. It also keeps track of how many time you click the check answer button in each room. If click it two or more time, that means you got answer wrong one or more times until you figured it out. It also keeps track of how long it took you to get through each room in seconds, which can be totaled up into hour, minutes, and the remaining seconds. This will encourage you to keeping playing to get a better score and time, which ultimately help you memorize the definitions. It has link to a tutorial video that is unlisted on my YouTube Channel the Josh Castic Show. There is certain point where you need to learn state symbols, and there is a link for state symbol website to find those answers. There is also music that changes in each room, which you can stop and play or you can turn off sound on your iPad if you don't want keep turning music off. In each room, there is Easter egg of my initials J.E.C., so try to find them. That's pretty much everything you need to know. I hope you enjoy the game.
